Hats Off to T-Mobile Ad Group...

If you and I are the least bit like-minded, you share my disappointment with commercials, ad-spots, print ads, and net videos promoting products of all shapes, sizes and styles.

Enter a new thought process: advertise people's daily life. A form of "everybody does this", therefore, you should "do this" with our product. Note in the video, you cannot recognize the branding of any electronic device. Who cares? That is hardly the point.

Bravo.

Kitchen Demolition!

...and renovation.

Spent a good portion of Saturday removing the top half of one wall between the kitchen and living room and framing out a large "window". Plans have been drawn up to update (read: modernize)the kitchen and living spaces. This should have a dramatic impact on the resale value of the home.

A few pictures showing the project in its midterm. Click each image to view larger.

Photo Bite: images shot with my new Olympus 850SW camera. The in-camera panoramic tool created the shots above. The camera can assemble up to three images and export as a single jpeg file.

The Family - Updated

Happy Valentine's day to all!

Great news this morning, my sister Karen and her husband Chuck have announced they are pregnant! We all gathered at Mom and Dads house for brunch (Scrambled eggs w/ cheese, bacon, sausage, strawberries, donut holes, coffee and i indulged in chocolate milk as well). And, no, before any jokes are made, i am not pregnant. =p While there, Mom requested a new family picture since our most recent one was before Reilly was born.

'Coffee for thought'

From the side of a Starbuck's cup:

"If you've got a dollar and you spend twenty-nine cents on a loaf of bread, you've got seventy-one cents left. But if you've got seventeen grand and you spend twenty-nine cents on a loaf of bread, you've still got seventeen grand. There's a math lesson for you."
